Trackless Train Rentals
BackYard Carnivals rents a trackless party train for events across Florida’s First Coast. It needs no track and no rails, so it runs wherever there is a safe, flat route: a parking lot, a church campus or a closed street. Each party train ride carries up to 16 passengers of any age, so toddlers, grandparents and everyone in between can climb aboard together.
Trackless Train Rental Pricing:
$650 for the first two hours
- Two-hour minimum, then $150 for each additional hour.
- BackYard Carnivals staff member runs the attraction for your whole rental.
- Free local delivery; a fee may apply farther out.

The train is a route, not a station, and that changes how an event flows. Instead of one more line to stand in, it moves people from one end of your event to the other and gives the youngest guests something to do the entire time.
Because there is no track to lay, setup is a conversation about the route rather than the footprint. Any smooth, solid surface, a loop with no blind corners, and somewhere for riders to get on and off safely is all that is needed.
Our party train ride is the calmest thing we bring, which is worth something at an event where everything else is loud. Up to 16 passengers per trip.

Yes. A BackYard Carnivals staff member drives the party train ride for your whole rental, so you don’t need to find a volunteer. Your guests just climb aboard and enjoy the ride.
How do I reserve the trackless train for my event?
A 50% deposit holds your date, and the balance is due before setup. Call 904-992-0056 to check availability, and book as early as you can for school and church events, since there’s only one train. Full terms are on our Rental Information page.
